One year after the release of the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, The Liturgical Institute at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois, announced that it has added a required 3-credit course on the history and spirituality of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite to its roster of classes.

Perhaps this could be coming to a "Seminary near you" sometime soon? If and when the EF is being taught in the Seminary as a mandatory study, along with Latin, that is when things will begin to move at the pace that many were hoping for from the start. I believe it will be happening soon, given the remarks from Cardinal Hoyos this past month in London.
